The Little Mermaid
Tonight’s story is “The Little Mermaid” by Hans Christian Andersen. In this tale, we are introduced to the little mermaid’s beautiful world beneath the waves, in her family’s palace at the bottom of the sea.
The mermaid's curiosity is alighted about human life, but she must wait until she is old enough to swim on her own, to discover what her grandmother calls "the lands above the sea."
